LifeMD
LifeMD is a publicly traded US virtual care company whose weight management program prescribes GLP-1 and other weight-loss medications.
What it is
The weight management program launched in April 2023 and covers provider visits, metabolic coaching, labs and prescriptions as appropriate.
It prescribes brand-name GLP-1s such as Wegovy, Zepbound and Foundayo, plus a non-GLP-1 oral combination of metformin, bupropion and topiramate.
The page says providers may prescribe compounded medication from a partner compounding pharmacy where clinically appropriate.
LifeMD reported about 81,000 weight management subscribers as of December 31, 2025.
Prescribes: Mainly brand-name GLP-1s (Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic, Saxenda, Foundayo) and an oral off-label combination; compounded medication possible where a provider deems it appropriate.
What it costs
| Weight management program fee, first month | $391 |
|---|---|
| Weight management program fee, monthly after first month (medication extra) | $1491 |

| Wegovy pill, self-pay, starting price | from $1491 |

Insurance: Program fee is cash; a pharmacy partner runs benefit checks so insurance may cover medication. FAQ says Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE patients are not eligible for the GLP-1 program.
