Oura is the app for the Oura Ring. The ring measures heart rate, body temperature, blood oxygen and more, and the app turns that into daily Sleep, Activity and Readiness scores, cycle insights and long-term trends. With a membership you also get Oura Advisor, an AI assistant that answers questions about your ring data, and in most US states you can book a Health Panels blood test at Quest and have Advisor explain the results.
Emerge Care is built around symptoms, side effects and doctor visits rather than ring data, and it needs no extra hardware: you tell it how you feel, it keeps the log on your iPhone, answers with named sources, and builds a one-page summary for your next appointment.

A ring that measures sleep, heart rate, temperature and blood oxygen day and night, with no watch to charge every day.
Far deeper sleep, recovery and cycle tracking, including temperature trends and signs of illness.
Blood testing you can book in the app, with results reviewed by partner clinicians.
Runs on Android as well as iPhone. Emerge Care is iPhone only.
Many more app languages.
The ring and app still work without a membership, with fewer insights.
Can you use both?
Yes. Oura tracks your sleep and recovery from the ring; Emerge Care keeps your log of symptoms and side effects and gets you ready for appointments. Both connect to Apple Health.
