Visible, from Visible Health, is a pacing app for people with energy-limiting conditions such as Long Covid, ME/CFS, POTS, fibromyalgia and EDS. The free app measures heart rate and HRV each morning with your phone camera and tracks symptoms, exertion and medication. A paid membership adds the Visible Band 2.0, made by Polar, for all-day heart rate, PacePoints and pacing alerts.
Emerge Care does a different job. It is an iPhone health companion for the time between doctor visits: you tell it how you feel in your own words, it keeps the log on your phone, answers with named sources and builds a one-page summary for your next appointment.

Questions
Is Visible free?
The Visible app is free. It measures morning heart rate and HRV with your phone camera, tracks symptoms and can make a Health Report PDF. All-day heart rate, PacePoints and pacing alerts need a paid membership and band (checked 15 October 2026).
How much is a Visible membership?
Visible shows membership prices at checkout rather than on its website, and says an annual plan saves 25% over monthly. Check the Visible checkout for current prices. Its products are HSA/FSA eligible in the US.
Is Visible on Android?
Yes. Visible runs on iPhone (iOS 15 or later) and Android (9.0 or later). Membership is sold in the US and UK only. Emerge Care is iPhone only.
Does Visible work with Apple Watch?
No. Visible's FAQ says its pacing features need the Visible Band 2.0 (or a Polar Verity Sense), not Apple Watch, Garmin or Fitbit. Emerge Care works with Apple Health and Apple Watch.
Where does Visible store my data?
Visible says data is kept in an encrypted database and stored in the EEA and the USA. Its privacy policy (updated 15 October 2026) says AI providers may process data to generate insights, and that with your marketing consent it may share identifiers with Meta for ad targeting. Emerge Care stores your records and chats on your iPhone.
Can Visible make a report for my doctor?
Yes. Visible makes a Health Report PDF once you have 30 days of check-ins, and members can share a live Clinician Dashboard. Emerge Care builds a one-page visit summary PDF of what you logged since your last visit, with your questions at the end.
Does Emerge Care help with pacing?
Not in the way Visible does. Emerge Care has no armband, PacePoints or over-exertion alerts. It logs how you feel, answers with sources and prepares you for appointments. It never diagnoses and never replaces your clinician.
Can I use Visible and Emerge Care together?
Yes. They do different jobs: Visible for pacing and heart rate, Emerge Care for your symptom log in your own words, sourced answers and the summary you bring to your clinician.
