Noom is a weight-loss app built on daily psychology lessons, food logging and coaching, with an AI assistant called Welli. Noom Med adds clinician-prescribed weight-loss treatment, and Noom also offers menopause care and at-home biomarker kits.
Emerge Care does a different job. It does not prescribe and it is not a diet program. It is an iPhone health companion: you tell it how you feel, it keeps the log on your phone, answers with named sources, and builds a one-page summary for your next appointment.
Choose Noom if
You want a structured weight-loss program with lessons, food logging and coaches, or prescription treatment through Noom Med.
Choose Emerge Care if
You want to log symptoms and side effects in your own words, get answers that name their source, keep your records on your phone, and bring a summary to your own doctor.
Noom prescribes medication. Emerge Care doesn't, and that's by design.
Noom offers prescription weight-loss treatment through Noom Med clinicians, and menopause care. Emerge Care never prescribes or diagnoses. It is the companion for the days between appointments: it keeps your symptom and side-effect log, answers with named sources and gets you ready for your next check-in, whichever clinician or program you use.
