• If disclosure is required to comply with a subpoena, warrant, court order, or rules of the court relating to the production of records

12. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser DNT signals. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.

15. ON-DEVICE STORAGE AND AI PROCESSING

Your health data — including chat history, health logs, lab results, medications, symptoms and side effects, weight, sleep, water intake, food logs, mood, journal entries, progress photos, reminders, and your onboarding profile (name, sex, age, goals, medications, height, weight) — is stored only on your own device, encrypted at rest (SQLite plus iOS Keychain / secure storage). We do not keep this information on our servers, and there is no user account database. Visit summary PDFs are generated on your device and are shared only when you tap Share (iOS share sheet). When you use an AI feature, the messages, food photos, or research questions you share are sent securely through our server to our AI service providers — Anthropic (Claude) for chat replies, food recognition, and research with citations; USDA FoodData Central for food search text — for the sole purpose of generating a response to you. Our server acts as a proxy and does not retain message content; food photos sent for analysis are not stored. You can delete all of your on-device data plus the pseudonymous usage records and hashed links described in this policy at any time using "Delete my data" in the app.

16. HEALTH DISCLAIMER

Sunny, research reports, and visit summaries are information to discuss with a clinician. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. AI and research results can be wrong; you should check the cited sources.
